A: You can find your polling location from this LINK. You can also vote absentee in our office, or request that a ballot is mailed to you. More information on Absentee voting can be found HERE. All elections in Platte County are conducted with paper ballots and ballot marking pens. Electronic ballot marking devices are available at all elections.

Q: What are your office hours?
A: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Q: When is my polling place open?
A: Voting hours in Missouri are from 6:00 a.m until 7:00 p.m.
Q: What happens at my polling place?
A: When you get to your polling place an election volunteer will check you in on an iPad. You will need to verify that your address is correct and sign, then the volunteer will give you a ballot. You can vote on every question and race, or just a few, the races you vote on will count even if you leave some blank. Then you put your ballot into the optical scanner to be counted and get your "I voted" sticker to wear proudly.
Q: What kind of identification do I need to vote?
A: You can use any State or Federally issued ID, current utility bill or pay stub that shows the address at which you are registered and ID issued by higher learning institutions in Missouri. A sample of acceptable identification can be seen HERE
